My drivers side door handle is tight to. I was checking the door rubber today to see if I can reduce the pressure.
I had a great time at Bug Fest Niagara. I wish I were on a trip like your taking, but our dog is older and is not as comfortable riding in the bus these days.
Have a great trip. |

The handle breaking might be the symptom, not the cause. Check the lock actuator for smooth and buttery release. Excess stress on the pivot will snap pot metal of course _________________ .ssS! |

WD-40 seems to have lovers and haters. It is marketed as a lubricant, that leaves oil behind, so not just water displacement. All I can say is that for now, it did the job. |
I use engine oil on rear hinge. The rear hinge has two separate bushings, one visible at the door and the other under the sliding door cover. Both need a good baptism of engine oil. Wipe off residual oil drooling over the next week or so with great gladness.

It does leave lubricant behind. It isn't a great penetrant, there are better things.

I squirted WD-40 in the lock and latch, and it is great now. Thanks. Should be ok for the trip. |
