This guy doesn't return PMs nor e-mails; deadbeat. |

I am also not getting any response from sleepyjoe. Looking at his profile he checks in to thesamba regularly, updates his adds. But- adds have been in place for years and years with thousands of views. I don’t understand. |
I've sent both emails and private messages as well as contacted Everett Barnes with no success at all.
If I remember correctly, he does not participate in any of the forum discussions. He apparently is just a salesman without much success. _________________ '84 Vanagon Tin-top, ALH TDI. 1989 Tin-top

3 of my friends and I messaged him to buy different things over the months, he never responds?!! |
I've had the same issue with Sleepyjoe for over 6 months. Apparently he doesn't really want to sell the stuff he has listed. Possibly his user name says it all! _________________ '84 Vanagon Tin-top, ALH TDI. 1989 Tin-top

About the 3rd time I have used Joe for used Vanagon parts. He packs items well and does business the old school method. Cash or Check in the mail and reliable.
Thanks for the Vanagon Rear Seat prop rod and table hardware. My knuckles will not get crushed again by the seat.

Asked Joe for a specific engine tin in his ad and had great comms with him before receiving the piece. It was exactly what I needed and at a very good price shipped. Joe does not accept PayPal, but feel comfortable sending him a money order. It was a smooth transaction. Cheers, Joe! _________________ ,,Wenige Menschen denken, und doch wollen alle entscheiden.'' -der Alte Fritz

I purchased a set of rocker arm stud inserts from Joe. He gave a fair price and was great to deal with....definitely would buy from him again. _________________ '65 Sunroof Bug |

Had the part I wanted and shipped it quickly...then USPS tried their ass off to lose it.
Joe and I kept in touch and I received the part almost two weeks after it was shipped.
Thanks for the communication and follow up!

Very pleased. Joe gets clear on exactly what’s needed and sent the right parts at a low cost. Will definitely buy again! _________________ Vanagon ’83 diesel AAZ w/Giles injection, 5spd 4.57R&P+TBD and a '78 diesel Rabbit |
