Wolfsburg West will also sell you a new cam blank to put your preferred grind on. I just got mine back from the grinder yesterday and I now have them in a kit form along with the WW grind. I'll be driving the newest 36hp build in a couple weeks, it has the WW grind in it. _________________ 30 years experience in the sales of new and used auto parts!

Mr. Motorhead-
Do you know who makes the blanks? How long will it take to see if the blanks are made correctly?
Cheers,

The blanks are made by Wolfsburg west, same blank they use for their grind. Not really too much you can screw up other than the machining. The blank comes with the journals turned and the lobes raw. I have three, the one I just put in an engine (WW grind) set up just fine. _________________ 30 years experience in the sales of new and used auto parts!

When I had WEB Camshafts grind some of WW blanks for me they tested the blanks for whatever a cam grinder test them for. The only extra thing they did was heat treat them after grinding (along with parkerizing) the get the hardness correct for using 36 hp cam followers.
I do have a couple of the WEB grind cams out there with 0 issues and 1 WW grind with 0 issues also. but none running in my own stuff yet.
WW cams are ground in the U S of A
I haven't run this cam yet as it's in the supercharged engine with some monster lift and spring pressures. Taking it to the extreme.
The blanks are made in China _________________ Stocking distributor of "The Funky Green Panels"

I've been wanting to run one of these cams, as I have not seen much if any feedback from anyone running one. It's a little bumpy on idle, but smooths out at higher RPM. That may be because I'm running a single 28PCI. Makes good power, I set it straight up on the gears as it was pretty close to spec. Static compression is 8.1/1 and it doesn't seem to run hot even on this 100 degree day we're having today. In fact it seems a little cold blooded as the manifold base takes about 5-10 minutes to warm up to produce a steady idle (yes, my preheat tube is clear and works perfect). Although I think this cam would be better suited for a dual setup, I'm happy. I think I may try my blower on it (I put a port on the manifold to measure boost). _________________ 30 years experience in the sales of new and used auto parts!

Would this work inside a stock 25hp engine? _________________ 1957 Typ 113 - Polarsilver
