These are an exceedingly nice reproduction of VW’s power mirrors. They are also heated so that when you are in cold or wet conditions, you can be assured that ice and condensation will not be an issue, allowing you to freely see in colder conditions. Each mirror has full UP/DOWN and SIDE/SIDE movement and they will still fold all the way in for the times you need to maneuver into a tight spot.
This wiring harness is a nice, high-quality clone of the original VW wiring harness and comes with a new switch that will operate both passenger-side and driver-side mirrors. The harness will convert your Vanagon to one with these fully powered, warming mirrors without too much hassle. A small hole will need to be drilled in the door to mount the mirror and the wiring harness is threaded through the door jams, which may require more holes if your van is not already equipped with an existing wiring harness.
