I paid just about $400 dollars delivered to Oklahoma. They are actually 14 inch tires. I used to buy the firestone 560 15 tires, those where a bit more plus shipping. These 14 are actually taller and wider than 560's and any stock tire i've seen.

I think the Coker whitewall tires are the way to go. I purchased 4 - 195/75/15 from a local Coker distributor and they fit great on my 1960 Samba. They cost about $143 each.

Did I mention they are radial tires?

Thanks for all your feedback.
From Rusty57 I learned that the white wall tires from coker that I prefer
http://www.coker.com/store/customer/product.php?productid=16576&cat=&page=1 would increase the hight of my van with 3 to 4 inches.
Unfortunatly this is no option for me since my bus would no longer fit in my garage. Currently I have 1/5 inch left between the poptop and the door (wich is rotated above the bus when the garagedoor is opened).

It seems like the only option for me is to use the plastic rings as show in the first post of this topic to get the white walls look.
