I have a white 1978 Westy. We decided to replace it's ratty spare tire cover with a new hand-painted one. My 16-year-old daughter designed and painted it with a West Coast/Vancouver Island theme. She used Acrylic paint with sealant to protect it from weathering. Check it out, here:
