Can you start from the beginning? What happens when you start the car? What happens when you press the gas pedal?

Some may-bees :

*Brakes dragging/E-brake not engaging
*Distributor not advancing
*Clutch outta adjustment
*Weak spark
*Plugs fouled
*Accelerator pump squirt weak/not aimed correctly
*Bad condenser
*Dwell/timing off

Good luck... stay safe

Most folks are going to recomend perform standard tune-up steps, prior to any further troubleshooting and potential fix ideas
1) check and adjust the valves (engine cold)

2) check spark plugs forcorrect gaps

3) check and adjust points for correct gap / dwell setting

4) check and adjust timing at high rpm and idle

5) adjust idle speed via carburetor adjustment screw(s)

6)"Coil test With the coil completely disconnected, test the resistance between the #15 and #1 terminals. A stock coil should read between 3~4ohms.

It would be much easier to help if you’d lose whatever local slang you’re using & describe the symptoms with proper terminology.

WTF is “splatters”?!?

Wait…. Am I actually telling someone in England to use proper English?!?

hear's a wild shot in the dark, do a compression test and see if you can match up #1 TDC with the crank pully, maybe the cam had had an issue?

First check the wires from plugs to distributor, if fitted in the correct order.
If that is ok, then try replacing the spark plugs
