I'm using @White_One 's photo here (thanks) ...
I've searched all the owners manuals that came with the 2003 Weekender and can't find any mention of the 3 chrome hooks that are at the the top of the interior trim just before the liftgate.
Does anyone know what the intended purpose of these fixtures is? VW didn't put anything into these vans without laboring over their function, so I'm sure there's something specific (besides just hanging things from them using carabiners).
If there is mention of these in the owners manual and anyone knows which section, feel free to point me to the page.
Thanks!! |

thanks Dean - in a million years I would not have thought of that use (we don't have kids and have never installed a car seat). |

I have an Opolar USB 8" fan zip tied to one. The fan will run all night for 4-5 nights off one 10,000 Mah battery stick. Makes for comfortable sleeping on warmish nights. |

In my van, the purpose is to anchor my dog’s harness leash when she’s riding in the back seat. |
