Yes, you can, but can you spot a counterfeit? _________________ '73 super. |

Ahh yeah...the unlabeled off brands that cross reference to them. Go to NGK and buy them direct if the kid at autozone doesn't know what he's talking about. They come in a wider gap now but I'm sure people gap their plugs accordingly.
Edit: autozone list them for $5.49 each. Pack of 4 in the wider gaps off Amazon with free delivery come out to $3.89 each. Ngk.com have them at $4.65. |

BCP6ES, have a 5/8 hex head. Easier to get a socket on with large intake manifolds.

Yes, R is resistor-stay away if using a high output ignition box. |

The B6ES Autozone said it has been replaced by the BR6ES, some are still around. In their stock at differnt locations.
So Bsairhead, I added the "R" You were right .
I did a 35 gap.
I wonder if it is a direct replacement ? |
Why .035? I mean where did you see that spec? |

Gap to suit your coil.
You can, believe it or not, find NOS boxes of legit NGK b6es plugs on flebay. I had about 40 of them at one point in my shop. Think I'm down to 10 or so left. For example toss each of these in the search box on ebay:

I provided a link to Rockauto with BP6es plus (projected tip).
94touring provided a link to sprarkplugs.com with B6es plugs.
Click on the links and place an order if you want them or find something else. |

LOTS of counterfeit stuff on the jungle website now! Buyer beware. I just had to return a counterfeit OtterBox phone case... annoying AF |

I'm sure I could find it somewhere, but since this thread is still hot, why not resistor plugs???
I may or may not put some type of radio/walkie talkie setup in my sand rail. I'm guessing resistor plugs would be the way to go. BUT...
I'll probably be running some type of MSD box and high voltage coil in my 2276.
Thanks, Dan |
