What tips does the community have for seperating the camber adjusters from old rusty ball joints? I've been casually soaking it with penatrating oil and so far they are not budging. How much heat can they tolerate? The ball joints are wasted so I'm not afraid to damage them in the process.
I'll add that the ball joints are still in the arms, the arms are currently not on the beam. |

Great thanks. I've seen the tool referenced before but wasn't quite sure how to use it, very helpful.
I have a bunch of video of my beam build adventure. Who knows maybe I'll post something one of these days. |

The tool worked like a champ on the one I've done so far. Put tension on it, heated it up a bit, put a lot more on it and BANG.
I will have the next arm clamped down much better. I don't even know what hit my finger on the hand that was holding the ratchet, it must have kicked back at me when it broke free or the arm kicked up and pinned me for a split second between it and the ratchet but wow it hurt like hell. Happy to report the swelling is mostly gone on day 2 |
