Here is some preliminary information re: the 2024 Kubel Treffen.
More information, including registration fees, t-shirts, etc. will follow.
Also, please check the usual 181 related facebook groups for additional info.

Meanwhile, make your reservations early.
It seems that the hotel has our event listed as Treffen East, Kubel
(as if it was a last name/first name).
I have tried to correct this repeatedly, but apparently unsuccessfully.
So do this:
Call the hotel
Hit "0" to speak with an on-site operator
If the operator does not recognize "Kubel Treffen East", try "Treffen East, Kubel"
Request a confirmation email

That is great that the Domeck Brothers are being honored.

I wish they could do some work on my Thing.

All Thing people are welcome, with or without their cars to honor these guys.
At least one is flying in from Southern California, hopefully a couple from Arizona as well. Think it over.

I might leave my Thing at home this year if I have too much stuff to bring with me, and just show up in a regular car.

Hey Gary Mondshine,

I'm going to try to register today if I can get a break in the work action but wanted to ask...

Friday - mid day visit to the Patton museum,
I'd love to go there again but I'd have to be there Thursday evening as it may be a 2 day trip for me in the THING. Worst case it'd be a all day drive to make it Friday
and i'd miss it.

I was planning on driving the Thing this year but I am still in process of doing some winter time work on it, Hope to be done by show time.

Any idea what the Sunday attraction would be?

Just curious, if it one up's the Patton museum that'd be great!

If you've never been to the Patton Museum - it was a very neat experience, tanks outta the wazoo there. They had Kubel and a Schwimmwagen last time we were there.
Gosh when was that? 2010 or somewhere around that?

Well may think on that and try to get there Thursday so I could go but we'll see what happens.

Anyways, Thanks Gary, i'll update you once I'm booked.

Will there be some sort of initial Rally Point time/location before the optional Patton Museum and hotel check in? Might be interesting to cruise into the museum "en masse".
