Forum launching 'Postimages.com'??

Just had a very strange issue viewing this thread... https://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=785296

Firefox showed the image in the first post via 'Postimages.com'. I closed the window and returned to the thread. Firefox says it is blocking a popup from The Samba for Postimages.

I don't have, and never have had postimages as a plugin or extension.

If I copy the image URL it's a redirect link. I've added some spaces to stop it translating to a URL in this post...

Should a image link allow a redirect?

It must be the way postimages.com works as it gives me a 2nd window if I click on the link to open it but nothing should occur unless you click on the image.

Photobucket and some other sites do that too

There's no reason for there to be a url link so I removed that so it only shows the image.
