hi folks,...... I just bought a 67 bug and wanted to know if fenders from a 60 thru 66 bug fit on the front and rear THANX IN ADVANCE Smile

Yes, those fenders will fit your '67 just fine.

If you're going for 100% originality, you'll want to look for 1962-67 rear fenders. Otherwise the tail light mounting holes will need to be re-drilled to their proper locations.

As for the front, US specification Beetles had a 1 year only 1967 style fender. If you don't care about that, then 1964-66 front fenders match best. Anything earlier & you'll need to change the front turn signal type.

yes, all 4 pre '67 fenders will fit on a '67.

I once bought a '63 ragtop with '67 fenders on it.

I JUST posted this question a week ago. I planned on keeping the original fenders and getting earlier fenders and painting them ALL the same time so if I decide to go back they are already painted!!

^ Yes, but if you transfer your '60 taillamps to the '63 fenders, they'll be too high... And I think the holes in the fenders for the taillamp mounting studs will be a larger distance than for your '60 housings, so that you'll need to drill at least one new hole. Many people won't notice the difference in taillamp height but some of us here do.
