I have just got off the phone with a paint supplier, I am trying to find LD43 for the interior, the guy I spoke to says he has never come across a code without a letter at the end and never heard of a VW code LD. He suggested looking at the RAL colour chart, I have found three possible options, RAL9004, Signal black,
RAL 9011, graphite black and RAL9017, traffic black. Any thoughts as to which would be a suitable alternative to LD43? |

Wolfsburg West lists LD43. Here is an example:

Thanks Dave, but I'm in the UK, hence the question about RAL colours. |

Get a different supplier In all seriousness, LD43 is just L43 with a dulling agent mixed in. Give him L43 or L043, if I remember correctly, the gloss level should be 80% in LD colors. Glasurit has it in their color database so maybe he can use that. _________________ '67 Beetle L41
