Seen this camper in OB last week. Waited for them to pass me, but they pulled into the pier parking lot.

Hello from NC.
I was visiting family for the holiday weekend and saw this very nice OG paint sealing wax red single in the parking lot of Lowe’s in Surf City, NC. I waited for a few minutes to see if the owner would return so I could talk his/her ear off, but finally need to go.
Is the owner a Samba member?

Not my buses and not sure of years. Spotted by my Maine friend at Bath, Maine car show. Maybe someone can say years.

| I saw what appeared to be a mouse grey/white 13 window on River Road near Manotick (Ontario). Good looking bus. I thought that I knew all 4 buses that were driving in this vicinity but this was a surprise. I was driving my Golf so he did not recognize me as a fellow bus owner and stop to chat. |

Yes, it is St. Ives, England on the southwest corner. Lots of surfers around in wetsuits. Lots of really nice, newer VW campers that were never imported to North America. If I had a chance to get a TDI poptop, maybe I would have two buses. My friends say there is another split in town with sideways facing seats (mini tour bus?). I'm keeping an eye open for that one.
Any idea on the year of this one? Tiny tail lights so pre-1961? |
