Did you flip the ring gear? If not, 4 reverse 1 forward. _________________ DDC racing |

How does that work? The 4 bolts holding the engine to the transaxle are not at 4 equal points. From the crank center the upper 2 bolts on the block are 42 degrees left and right, the lower to bolts at 45 degrees left and right. At least those numbers worked to make an electric motor adapter plate. _________________

Go back and take a closer look at the pictures. _________________ "Just $99 down and $64 a month for 36 months buys you a brand new Volkswagen Beetle!"

I wouldent waste $ or thyme on building a small motor. build it big so it dosent have to work hard.remember it's only as fast as your foot alows it to be unless you build a small turd then it just stinks as it squishes up through your toes when you step on it. |

The engine end bolts to this drive extension.
The adapter plate has the upside-down pattern.
This moves the engine forward.
Scroll back to the very first pic on page one to get an idea how it assembles. |

That is trippy. it looks like a repurposed transaxle case and an adapter to move the engine forward and correct the bell housing pattern. So does that mean you have a custom made long input shaft? _________________

Love it!
Been watching this on the STF..
My race-car hole-drilling lighten-ing hand just wants to drill so many holes in that empty trans case motor-spacer dealie-O I just can't tell ya!
It looks nice as a complete piece like that, don't get me wrong,
But the fact that about half of it could be turned into chips just won't leave me alone! _________________ Bus Motor Build
