Car Shows in Cali?

Hello, we were thinking about taking a road trip from Washington ~ California in our 1969 Camper Bus (See Below) next summer. The bus needs quite a bit of work including a new engine but we are very ambitious. My question is, what is the best VW show in California for us to consider (Name and location) for next summer? We planned to stop at Venice Beach or maybe Santa Cruz for an idea of location.

Black star campout and Prado Show and Shine put on by VTO. Pomona swap is usually the sunday before, a ton of open house and cruises during the week, OCTO on Saturday and the choice of Show and Shine (which you already pay for when camping out from Wednesday - Sunday) or the Classic at the fair grounds. The Koch accessory show is also during this time.

Pomona next year is June 4th and you can camp out sat afternoon. Maybe make some reservations for beach camping for sunday, monday, tuesday night then campout the rest of the week at Prado. If beach is full local mountains are nice and have some free sites with purchase of adventure pass ($5 per day).
