I have a funny request for the group. Does anyone in Northern NM or CO have a single cab or double cab T3? We love our Syncro 7-passenger but my wife is rapidly approaching the point where she wants a T3 of her own. Right now she is on the fence between a single or double cab truck. Before we consider pulling the trigger on this with a long distance commitment to Europe she would like to see one of the trucks in person. I know there are some truck owners in the Denver area (we will probably make it up there in the next few months) but I haven't heard of anyone closer to home. Feel free to PM me to coordinate plans.
Thanks in advance!

There’s a guy in Santa Fe who has a nice white Sinka I see driving around occasionally. I don’t think he belongs to this community and I don’t know how to contact him. _________________ Vanagon ’83 diesel AAZ w/Giles injection, 5spd 4.57R&P+TBD and a '78 diesel Rabbit |

You may want to change the title to something like DOKA and SINKA instead of trucks. |
Anyone with a DOKA or single cab know what they mean.
And to the OP, if you are looking for something with great utility and is fun to drive, you won’t regret getting a truck. I’m biased but prefer the single cab because of the larger cargo area. Good luck with your search. _________________ 1986 Transporter Single Cab Syncro |

I wish I could help, but all I can do is tell you that I would kill to have a Doka. Room for the dogs and for construction supplies, all in a T3 form... dreamy... _________________ 1986 Westy Weekender

Put SyncroFest on your calendar and make a trip to CA. April 30 - May 3.
You'll get to see plenty, (definitely more DoKas but probably a few SinKas), check out various models of them, ask their owners questions.
Some DoKa variants have 3-across front seating, others 2 front seats with walkthrough, certain models also have two rear passenger doors instead of just on right side. You'll likely get to see all of these variants too.

Oh man. There was an '89 single cab diesel for sale in Durango for months and months on Facebook marketplace for like $5 grand. I came very close to buying it. Just went to check and it's not there anymore. _________________ Joe T.
