I need a close picture of the nose badge area. Previous owner removed and added the ridge. I need to rework the area but dont know what it is supposed to look like. Without the badge attached

Do they all have that raised round area? Its a 59, not as early as pictured. I should have been more clear. Thanks

Im not sure how long the raised bump lasted, by memory not into 59. I didnt find the answer in a quick search but am inclined to guess 56, 57 and sometime in 58. Maybe the answer is in progressive changes.

the raised badge area was phased out for the 59 model year so I susspect it changed around August of 58 (though I don't know the exact vin number change). Here are some images of the two styles:
