OK.. OK I apologize, maybe true that what I want to say didn't come over as it schould have....it's still #1 just that it "felt" better before the change,now..is that alright ?
Kind regards from Belgium/Europe

I think you'll be happier in the next few weeks as the ongoing changes improve the site speed. It takes time to re-write entire programs and test the new stuff out (especially given that Everett works a full time job in addition to maintaining this site).
Also, there is no going back to the old server. It was an involuntary move with very short notice.
On the bright side, at least the site is free when you're forced to take days off work to surf it. _________________ Donate to TheSamba.com

the site is working as fast as, if not faster than ever for me today.
Quick links in the forums still do not open for me at all. I think it may be my computer. |

kalamazoo, if you are running a firewall like zonealarm, or a pop up blocker, you may have to fiddle with the settings and preferences to get links to open _________________ OG JHC

Anyone else having a problem finding some of the older pictures. I seam to wait quite a while for the page to load and never get anything older than the past year. Maybe it's just my machine, but I didn't have this problem before the change. I've only had this problem with the gallery. Everything else runs A-OK and quick. Of course now that I have read this whole thread I understand and sorry for repeting others concerns. _________________ Prosit!

I don't know if it's site improvements or bandwidth or what, but I'm on here at my usual time today and the site is running much faster than usual! Whatever it is, I appreciate it! |

Ev & Jen,
Don't know exactly what you did...don't know if I'd understand it if you told me, but the gallery is running much faster! And this is on a Friday evening!

I just had my computer serviced @ best buy. They found 2 viruses, 5 blast worms, and 425 ad/spyware programs. -This is a 1 yr old computer, on line under 1 hr. a day with dial up!
I can actually open webpages now...it's like dsl!
if you think the website is moving slow, i highly recommend having your computer checked out. |
