As the year comes to a close, it is traditional to look back and reflect on events of importance during the previous twelve months. Time magazine has their "man of the year", Esquire publishes a list of dubious achievements, Car and Driver puts out a "Top 10" issue... well, i figure a respected cutural icon such as this should have awards of our own. So, I ask for your nominations for the First Annual Samba Chummies. I need submissions in the following categories:
Stupidest Post (all forums except RnR))
Longest Non-Rant Thread
Most Popular Stupid Question (the question which comes up most frequently, in the regular forums.)
Lamest Advice
Best Advice
Best Non-Rants Thread
Best Story
Most Helpful member (all forums except RnR)
Member Most Likely To Get Someone Killed (all forums except RnR)
Rant Master
Biggest Comedian
Member who would look best in a Bikini
Biggest Post Whore
Biggest Thread Whore
Sniped Seagull (fastest departure from the rants by an acknowledged shit disturber)
Most Aliases
and of course, your input is always appreciated (like if it wasn't, any of you would shut up anyway.) if you can think of other award categories, let me know.
PM me with your nominations, and I will post the candidates here. Then, a Poll will decide the winners in each category. nominations close Dec. 27, the nominees will be posted the 28th, and voting will close on Dec. 30th, with the winners to be announced on new year's eve.
