" Sven " that's what our family call him.
Our Splitwindow bug was built on/ completed assembly at the factory 65 years ago today..March 10th, 1952. March 12th is when he left the faxtory....Ready to be shipped out to it's country of destination Sweden. All this is detailed on the Birth Certificate/Zertifikat from Stiftung AutoMuseum Volkswagen.
He has been bumped around a little in his life......but still rollin along!
I guess we should throw a party for Sven this weekend!  Happy Birthday Buddy.....to may more!

I've been to a car birthday party before. It's was a 40th for an original owner 64 Beetle named Christopher. Happy Birthday Sven.
