Looks good. I actually like that paint you put on the engine tin. Kinda sparkly--but not too sparkly.

Works for me.

for anyone who may need to use an aftermarket frame head in the future. i baught mine from socal auto parts and the original is concave in the center where your tie rods crosses over but the new one is not. so you will have to dimple this area in order to avoid rubbing.

got the top of the pans, the tunnel, and front beam done in por 15 (but I did mess up some and put it on a bit too thick [ bubbled in areas ] anyone going to use this por15 is awesome but it must be put on in two very light coats) the good part is it will all be covered with sound deadening, carpet, etc.. preparing to remove the transaxle this weekend and hopefully get the new brake lines and some other parts ordered this weekend.

project has been on hold for the last year , but have finally been able to get back to it. the pan is done and ill upload so photos of that when I get time. I started the body and its going to be a slow process. I cut out the passenger side heater channel, lower front wheel well, and the lower front firewall.

I had to modify the replacement firewall so that the new heater channels will fit properly (removed about an in of bottom internal metal so it would fit tight against the new channel). you can also see what was left of the original here.

for anyone that's counting so far that is
both pan halves, frame head, napoleons cap, front beam, front firewall,
passenger heater channel, lower front quarter, and twice that left to replace.
and that's just the rust repair.
starting to think the only thing that's gonna be left nonreplaced is the sunroof lol.

And thank you mike. Its very easy to get discouraged with a project this size. Doing what I can to save this one. When I first started everyone I know told me to scrap it but I couldn't bring myself to do that.
