I am doing a Carson style lift-off roof myself. Yours looks good, what have you set up for fastening to the windscreen?

oh that is a metal beetle roof section fitted to a glass speedster !? wow that roof line looks great !

I was thinking I would use the front header bow from a speedster top fame as a front attachment...I have a glass speedster too and want to build a hard top for it. hope you wouldn't mind me stealing your idea. seems like the perfect way to go. the shape is better than any of the old hard tops that were made for speedsters.

I had thought maybe a glass window from a later convertible ghia might work...at least it seemed like a cool idea they way they can drop down.
