Hi, my Mom has A 99 Jetta 2.0 and it wont shift into overdrive. I cant check the trans. oil beacuse it has no dipstick. Somtimes the gear indacator on the dash goes out to. Any help would be Great.

Take it to a dealer...you won't be able to diagnose anything with your Jetta's tranny without the VAG scan tool. Don't try and drain the fluid, cause you need the scan tool to fill it back up again as well....
