Sweet, is it going for auction at Barrett-Jackson? |
Thanks for the comments....nice to hear after spending years.....yes, years... stressing over every nut, bolt and square inch of this bus.
Ev, no the bus is not scheduled for any auction action. I will take it out to several of the auction events weather permitting.....
Yes, the bus is for sale!
Just not until I complete the 16 remaining items on my punch list.....the list that NEVER seems to end and believe me....I'm more than ready to move on to the next project....the 1955 23 window. _________________ Transporter Restorations

|
Wanted to share my 64' original color mouse gray. Got it about two years ago and just been getting her mechanically sound. Looks like the white was re-sprayed (looks like latex paint). You can still see the original white under the trim. Same thing with the bumbers. My plan was to clean her up really good, take that crappy white paint off and clear coat. The bumbers I plan to pouder coat white to give it a clean look. They are kind of beat up plus I made some repairs to straight them out. Any input would be greatly appreciated! Have a great vw day!!
Bobby
