I think so... 525 pounds for what... 100 or 110 HP? A stock VW 1600 DP would likely be faster at 60 HP and 160 pounds.

My 1977 Suzuki GT750B.
I bought it in 1980 and could sell it every day of the week, but I won't!
Bike of many nicknames. Waterbottle here in Australia, Kettle in UK and Buffalo in the US.

This was my first bike when I was a kid 1967 Yamaha Trailmaster 100cc with electric start and high/low range
I had a Honda CB 350 in my late teens, a Honda CB 500 in my early 20s, and a Suzuki 250 in my early 30s in Japan.

Interesting bikes. Water Buffalo here in the US.
But, as mentioned here recently, this photo cannot be hosted on the samba since there is no VW in it.

This showed up at Cars & Coffee a few weeks ago. Two wheel drive Ural with sidecar. There is a drive shaft going over to drive the sidecar wheel. If you zoom in you can see the knuckle joint just above the muffler in the second photo.

Little break in the weather up here, this was the week of march 4th, snow melted so broke out the Bike.
