just pick this NOS head with NOS pistons/cylinder but Im not for what car porsche 356??
I can only see 142.1968.100.3015.6.142 1
in the back/under the pistons 968.1004015F
the head has opening for cylinder arounf 85,85mm. piston top diameter 75,85mm, cylinder 129,92 high, valves around 33,12x31,20mm
anybody know for what car/type and year they are for??

Doesn't look like the right profile for a 356 valve cover. Looks more VW to me... The 356 valve cover is much larger than a vw. _________________ Call your Cunado's:

I would guess small displacement aircraft engine. Dual independent carbs on top downward exhaust. It is quite interesting and would like to know exactly as well. |

not 356 road car that's for sure..
the valve gear looks tight i'm not even sure a VW but then I haven't taken much VW stuff apart all Porsche.. _________________ WANTED:-

Cool looking head, NOT 356. Strange how the exhuast ports are in the center and a breather tube on top. I agree with some kind of aircraft head.
Shoot a pic over to Gary Emory at Parts Obsolete. He had/has a Porsche or maybe VW helicopter engine that runs verticle instead of horizontal like most air cooled engines. It could be a head for one of those. _________________ Stocking distributor of "The Funky Green Panels"

the porsche/vw helicopter motors were slightly modified from stock,they ran horizontal just like in the cars,i have pics of them _________________ Have a great day! |
