after month's of searching I finally found someone
who make's a repro of the 1500 normal script for
my 356 pre A. If you have been searching too.
This is the guy. He's if France

I got two of them in the boxs of stuff that came with my Pre-A, didn't know that they were rare. If it isn't considered WAY out of line ( I know that it just might be), what's an original going for? Anyone know? I think that I'll put one up on The Samba or Ebay.

Do you think he would produce a 1300 script?
Now that is a really rare badge to have and I could do with one. Does he speak english?

I found this guy. Bruno. On Ebay He was listing a repro of the
1500 super script. Asked him if he could make a 1500 normal.
Next thing I know he lists 4 of them for sale on Ebay.? He
doesn't speak very good english. Had to talk to him through
a translater page. These are the photo's he sent me.
Hit him up for 1300 script. Doesn't hurt to ask. |

I think we have met before at the pre A meeting last year in France and maybe this year in Switzerland? Am I right? I had my red right hand drive '53 cabriolet at both these meetings.
This car had a 1300 normal engine originally (but not any more) and I would like to put a 1300 script back on the car.
Any help you can give would be great.

that's a 1500 one some where on my computer is a 1300 super just can't find it at the moment.

Thats a good picture.
All our (55 1500) scripts are gold, but its not a continental/carrera, should they be silver? Do you think they've just been plated? I am sure they are original scripts not repro, but could have been plated is a possibility. |
