RS, they look very nice.
One tip. After chroming the ends of the prongs can get rounded. The chrome wants to radius the edge of the prongs and they don't want to hold as well against the wheel. The solution is to grind the end of the prongs flat. Basically kiss the end of the prong with a file or grinder to break the radius so the end is square. This helps the prongs "bite" better against the wheel and makes it less likely to come off. |

Does anyone know where else I could get the barn door seat material - preferably in the US? (Not for a barny but a 58 pickup which I believe is the same). I emailed duncan from eurobox a month ago but he didn't get back to me.
Cheers

I believe Chris has the exact material available:
"Now available for all commercial buses from barndoor through 1957. Black, pebbled vinyl for front, middle, and rear seats.
This is the correct Haartz vinyl and an absolute match to OG."
[email protected]
...may not be the same if your's is a 58 though. |

Cheers, will give Chris a try.
The back of the seat still has it's original vinyl on it and it is exactly as you described 'black pebbled vinyl', and I was told it is the same as barndoor material by someone who ought to know. Perhaps coz it is an early 58 pressed bumper truck?

Yep, we've got it and it's beautiful. It's a very limitted stock though and we have to wait for a mill run for more. Who knows how long that will take. You can PM me here for details.

David Fuentes, NOS-PARTS, reproduces these. He sells them on eBay. Not sure if he advertises them on this site. |

here ya go...a little of both....54 harness from wiring works .the colors are all proper but not exact to factory striping for the multi colored wires. all the ends are typically bare from what i have used.you either have to solder ,put ferrules or connectors on yourself.wiring works is the best option ive ever seen/used. worth the money in my opinion.
