Hi my English Twin- Incredible show. Many people said it was the best show they've ever been to and that's coming from people who have been regular attendees at the So Cal events for the last ~20 years.
I think your estimate of value on that lineup is more than a bit light. I don't think that any one of the owners of those Buses would do anything but politely decline an offer of just $100,000. _________________ Please check us out on Instagram at @holygrailgarage

This kid's got his hands in all pockets! Aside from this, you need to consult me before posting anything with Everett Barnes. I am his PUBLIC RELATIONS consultant, I AM THE ONE WHO MADE HIM FAMOUS! We do have copy rights on this kid.
Even Chuck D was wearing dark socks, though they were dark brown. Like the Nothern Brits wear up in the TOON. REALLY.
I got a picture of the BLACK SOCKS MAFIA. I will post it when I get the time. |

The show was awesome.
Without getting into the details of the vehicles in attendance, here is an overview of the event from my perspective:
The Treffen was held at the Phoenix Club in Anaheim, CA. The admission was $15 a head with kids for free. The weather was very nice...bright and sunny but not too hot. The event was well organized and had a relaxed atmosphere.
Some of the cars were undercover in the main tent area, but most were outside on the well manicured lawn or under shade trees in the paved areas.
There was plenty of food and beer on tap. The grill was serving up some nice grub including German favorites. There were plenty of shade trees over the picinic benches and there was a small playground for the kids. The turnout was very good but it wasn't crowded.
The Barndoor line-up was nice with all the deluxes together, looking sharp. The cars were all well spaced so you could get a good look.
There was a small, unexpected group of swappers but nothing eye-popping for sale. (This is one part of the event that could be improved in my opinion.)
I agree with Brendan that this was one of the best SoCal events for the hardcore vintage fan. I expect that it will grow in popularity and rival some of the European events like Camberg. |
