Got you lookin ...There has to be a demand for barndoors to make new bodies . Maybe someone could gather all gerson panels ...make the rest.. weld them together. ..sell for 10 grand ... id by one! Got to be deluxe. 67-69 cameros are avalable and there sort of boring.

the plan is still on, but I am so fucking busy keeping Ronnie, Kelly, and the other guys selling the panels stocked, that I have not had time to do shit on the bus....It really is not that big of a deal, just go to the shelves and get all the parts needed to assemble the thing....we really have to hand make very few panels to finish the thing off....but, it's all about time, and the lack thereof.... Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Can we start using the word replica in this thread.

I dont mind one bit if people start building there own barndoor replicas, good place to start with a full custom.

But a replica is a replica, just like when you buy a plastic 356, you still dont own a porsche.

You could be a little more... free... to change stuff on a replica to fit your ideas. This would only work on a bus that was not a cream puff. It would still be saving a bus that was not AS wanted as a BD. (When i say CHANGE STUFF0 i DO NOT mean things like adding a V8 or somthing extreme like that. More like a sun roof / sky window panel. Just keep it all VW. Plus if a BD got hit by somone on there cell phone it would be way more of a loss.
