They were made in France and all of them I've ran across (10 -15 in two years of searching the internet) and could get the info on were manufactured in 1980. They were distributed in the US by a company called Besco out of NY, but the one I have doesn't have Besco on the ID plate like other's I've seen.

Trivia here. I saw a later advert for a batch of these that were being liquidated in the mid 80's. Somebody should start making these again, if they can get them past the Trial Lawyers and the Dept. of Transportation.javascript:emoticon('Rolling Eyes')

BTW: I'm searching for one Right Now! As in Yesterday!
Are there any out there? J.

Mine doesn't have the Besco plate, but instead has an ID plate with the original manufacturer. Besco was a US importer that sold the trailers in the US. I've got all the original paperwork including the sales flyer and receipts that came with mine. FWIW, mine is listed in the classifieds. Here's a photo of the ID tag.

Does anyone know where I can find a spare wheel and tire for this trailer? I have one in great shape that I pull behind my Harley but if I can find a spare wheel and tire I may sell it.

I just picked up one of these today at a garage sale. When I saw it I knew it was something I just didn't know what at the time. Now I'm glad I got it. I plan on pulling it behind myVespa. And when the camper is done I'll find something to put on the trailer behind it.
