OH Man alive,
After you fixed that you would have the newest RHD van i the world.
You wouldnt be using much of the original, the chassis plate is ok i guess .
If it were up to me i think it makes a better picture than it ever will a van again. Too much time, too much effort. It will be the oldest rhd van for a short period of time anyhow |

It's not really a van anymore is it? Just a pile of rusty metal - shame _________________

I agree it is possible but you could buy my 52 from me Taxed and Mot'd - get in and drive it away for the same cost as restoring it inc parts and save yourself i guess near on 600-800 (probably more) hours work to end up with a 80% unoriginal van.
That said it would be fun to try |

come on, lets see someone put this thing back on its wheels.
i know there are people on here who can do it. would have been cool to see it back when that bog/marsh was flooded, and all you could see for a while was the top half of a bd sticking up out of the water. |

It'll be at Camberg in 2011.........
Can't imagine how thin the metal will be - welding any repair panels to that will be nigh on impossible. _________________ If I am not out on the Indian, or in the garage, I'm back in Afghanistan.

Anybody know who the music is?
That bus needs to be relegated as the center piece in some secret garden. |

this bus better get put back on the road. there are enough resources now to do it. i know those crazy guys over there can do it. IF not, then cut the VIN #s out and send em to gerson. so he can bring it back from the dead. |
