This hood has been repainted, I would bet it's had some work done in the normal areas. That's 3 times too much for a hood in my opinion. That's 54-55 and split pricing... |

Wrong motor, wrong style interior, the paint looks like a bird crapped all over it, wrong headliner looks like 60s headliner. All that chrome in the engine bay.....bet that motor runs nice n cool. Hahaha. Wow, this is "fully restored"? What a hack. 5k tops. Everything needs to come out and thrown into the trash and get the real parts to restore this car the right way. It's all wrong.

33k......man, this is great. Making my 56 rag go up in value. Again, wrong motor, wrong style interior again, looks like 60s door panels with all those pleats. Should be smooth style panels for an Oval. If I was interested, I would say ditch the motor and interior and have it redone the right way. Drop that price down. A lot.

I replied:
The ONLY thing not original is the engine? Ha. The seats are not original upholstery. There is no carpet, where is it? Those chrome running boards, are those original? ha. I LOOOOVe the steering wheel, is that original too? How about those Cal look window seals? Where the trim for them? I noticed your lack of bumpers also, are those T bars original? Ha. Cmon man, the whole car is un-original and needs to be completely restored. Everything needs to be taken out and restored correctly. Trash the motor, the interior, the t bar bumpers, everything. Tell you what.....keep the motor, steering wheel, seat covers, t bars, everything not original ill give you 3k for the rolling shell.

The ad first said it was "original", not "as original as possible"....I emailed the guy and said this car isn't even close to being original...he replied, "go away"...then he edited the ad.
