So, we finally found a place to handle the restoration of our '68 vert (after that evil witch hit it with her mini-van) two hours way outside of Philly, got it all dropped off this past weekend. I want to switch the door mounted mirrors to the fender mounted ones, I see that there are a couple of reproductions out there:
Mid America-same mirror works for both left and right
CIP-same mirror works for both left and right-OUT OF STOCK
JC Whitney-Driver side only, the design looks a bit different than the others.
Has anyone had any experience with any of these, good, bad, something better that I haven't come across. I know it isn't appropriate for this year but I like them. |

Although not original, many Ghia owners opt for mirors made by a company called Talbot.
I believe there are several models, but I seem to recall the name Berliner as one being used on a Ghia.
