Ghia verts have special stiffeners for strength that are not required in coupes because of the coupe's roof. The cost of all the added material and labor would be way to restrictive for most folks. And if the person converting the coupe to a vert didn't get it exactly right, and I mean exactly, you'd have a hard time keeping things like alignment maintained. Your best bet would be to hunt down a vert with a decent body and go from there. It'll cost less in the long run and be way more maintainable. _________________ Allen C.

Ghia verts are easy to find in So Cal and relatively cheap. Here is San Diego there are two up for sale for under $4k. Check San Diego Craigslist and the UnionTrib.com.
