A friend has a '58 Beetle, the seats in her car, she told me were out of some type Mazda, not sure the exact model...but she said they bolted exactly where the stock seats sit. I've not looked underneath the seats, but the seats look good in her car, although they are wider...just enough room for the e-brake with a lil' to spare on either side....hope this helps.

I took some seats out of an early 90's Toyota Celica. I had to make brackets to raise them as they are thinner on the bottom. They are made very well and the guy I had recover them said he has seen recarro seats that were not made as well as these. They have power lumbar and the sides come in and out as well. If you want to see what they look like email me and I'll send you some pics. |
