Yes, but a kind of ''an unfortunate Bonus'' if you ask me...
Never understood why someone would put those on a bus, it only looks ugly and hideous at best imo. But hey, I'm not a kid from the 1960's. |

You aren't joking. I don't even think it is worth dragging out to part it out even if it was free. _________________ September 1964 Standard Sunroof walk through SWR/BG original paint. |

I recently pulled this 61 light grey kombi out of the woods. It was produced 7 buses before my buddy's 61 light grey kombi. How wild is that?!
Tools for extraction.
The prize a 61 Kombi.
Got some rollers on the bus and dug it out. All four drums are locked up tight.
Crazy how nice the frame is considering it was pretty much in the mud.
Safely home and ready to get these wheels rolling again

We found the buses in different states but they both had the same export code
It’s wild that they found each other again _________________ 1952 Zwitter

After 10 years of trying to purchase this bus, I got the email I’ve always dreamed of. Bob turned 71 and said he is now ready to let go of his bus.
Bus was built on 12/16/58. It was last registered in AZ in 1982 before he moved to Grover, Utah where he now lives. Very happy to be the next caretaker. Bob purchased the bus from his dad in 1973 for $100. His dad bought it in 1965. I have a bunch of pictures of the rescue and also pictures that Bob loaded on a thumb drive from back in the day.

Pretty solid bus. This is the worst of it. If you can even call this bad! Ha. _________________ 1957 Single cab
