| Thats what he told me, but he probaly was just saying that, so I would still want it. For all I know they probaly put it in some kind of auction. Never , ever, buy from precious-parts.com. I see you still let them sell on your web site, you saw the contract posted here, you can see the lies in it, maybe you should start charging money so some of these scammers will disappear. I know people would complain, but people are running a buisness off of you. Just a suggestion. Where else can they go to sell their vw stuff for free? | I see precious-parts.com has put up alot more product on the samba, they actually put prices. If I ordered the same panel door today, their price would be $241, I paid $150. I paid 100 for shipping and insurance, which was not to be true because they sent it collect. If I ordered today that would be $341 than when it gets to your destination you can add at least another $250 for the shipping, insurance, airport fees, and about seven other fees, (no import tax because the price of the item was under $250 and for personal use) that they were suppose to pay or didnt tell you about so that means your total bill will be around $591 (not shipped to your house). Then you have to set up an appointment between the shipping company, customs, and you. You will probaly have to take time off work, so there is more money lost. Customs and Warehouses dont work weekends, The only times they seemed to be avaliable is from 10am to 2pm, cant make their times, now they start charging storage fees. What happens if it is damaged, or they sent the wrong part, are you out of your money. They already have your money because it was wired so you have no way to get it back on your own. They dont take credit cards so you cant dispute or freeze the charge. Dont be a fool like I was. If I keep my bay window panel I will make my own door, by cutting a piece of metal and using window rubber to install it, I think it would be better than hiring someone to weld up a regular door, plus the inside would not look patched. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM PRECIOUS-PARTS.COM, THEY WONT RESPOND TO THIS THREAD BECAUSE THEY ARE COWARDS AND THEIVES. Read this thread for the truth, got ripped off, Mark Michels. |

Pride can blind people sometimes. They have your money, you have nothing. You'd still have to pay for a used door that may come close to $215 after shipping is applied. It would have been a no-brainer for me. |

| Thanks to the samba want ads, a couple people responded with sliding panel doors, made a deal with a guy to bring one to the classic, got the door for $100 and it is sweet, thanks samba, and remember never order from precious parts! Mark Michels. |

| Sorry you had a run of bad luck, but I'd never have bought a part from a gazillion miles away, if you can get the same part domestic. Lesson learned I guess. |

| I have made a purchase from this seller with no problems. It went smooth, the product was just as described, and the seller was very professional. I am currently making a second purchase from them. They have always provided good communication including any requested photos, etc. Based on my experience, I would recommend them. |

Hello there,
I have bought parts from Precious-parts.com, and I have to say It went perfect. Very quick answers, decent shippingcosts and most important very good parts. The where wrapped a piece then by 2 and than by 4.
I would recomment precious-parts.com to anyone.

We just completed a transaction with Joanna successfully!
She was very patient with us, answered all of our questions and wrapped every item individually for the long journey from the Philippines to USA.
