We all get to see the reactions to our rides on the faces of men and women of all ages everyday. It's a great thing...no matter what condition your VW is in, we all get that.
I had a great one the other day leaving a Wal-Mart parking lot..."Lay down some rubber man!" I turned and said..."I'd love to but 36 horses aint gonna cut it...it only looks like a hot rod."!
What about going by and seeing someone get punched in the arm and the aggressor pointing at your car and smiling...I love that one!
But my favorite has got to be seeing a childs face pressed up against their car window, hands outreached and smiling from ear to ear. Such innocent eyes can see!
So what's your favorite? I'd love to read some good stories on this rainy day!

I drove it from Seattle to Octo and back. I should be driving it from Seattle to Vegas soon.

i was at a show with my bug ,a guy came up to me and offerd me 15 k to build him one just like mine that just made my day  specially it only costed me 7 k to build it

The Roadster was parked along main street in clemson and I was in subway across the street eating and watching people as they drove by. One guy nearly plowed into the person in front of him because the dude was staring at the Roadster. I had to laugh at that one...

my favorite is when your driving a bug with a loud ass stinger, see a slow car ahead, get up next to it and slam on the gas and watch the people in the other car jump outta there seat.

You think Buses get attention, try driving a Thing!
I was on my way to work and going past the herd of kids leaving the high school. While stopped at a light, one of the kids is all googly eyed over my Thing. He begged for a ride, so I took him across the street. Sometimes it's really cool, but that almost made me feel like a pervert.
