I was going to the store tonight and I realized that after I park, while walking away from my car, I turn around to admire it at least three or four times.
Am I the only one that does this? |

yup, I do that too. At least five times a day while it is in the driveway. I usually go up to a window.... of couse mine is not on the road yet, so I can't talk about checking it out at a store....but I do drive it illegally down a massachusetts' road every now and then. Of course after the local cops have already driven their route down my street, then off I go. |

I always look out my window and admire my babies. I have taken pictures of all my rides and keep them on my desk at work, along with a pic of the girlfriend. It's cool to watch the progression they take while being restored. _________________ Mike

Yea, I do that too. I especially like walking past some guy who was just looking at it and listening to him tell his wife/girlfriend about it. Always puts a smile on my face. |

I go into the garage just to rub the roof line of mine. I will probably walk backwards when I get out of it when I finally get it on the road. Right now my desktop on my computer at work is a picture of my work in progress.

Oh yeah....
Current beetle project isn't to the "level" of my last bug. I used to go to the garage and drink a beer and just stare at it, run my fingertips down the sides of the awesome paint job. It was very cool. I still have a pic of it on the "beer fridge" in the garage. I love that car. It was a great project. Good times!

That's great to know I'm not alone. Whenever I park at a restaurant, I always try to get a table where I can look out the window and see my DC...
always nice to have a great view while eating... _________________ <---Air Cooled Search & Rescue Team - STICKERS & T-shirts for sale!
