What's the easiest way to change that @#%* rubber grommet on top that has the line from the reservoir in it? I've got the cussing down pretty good and a reallt big hammer, so...
I tried doing it while it was still in that car Not happening, got it! I need to take it out of the car, but do I install it with the hardline already in the hole, or put it in after install the grommet into the MS. _________________ Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation eff' leans on the doorbell!

Put the grommet in first, then install the line, or plastic fitting. I had no problems doing it on my '71, when it came out of its 15 year hibernation. _________________ Society is like stew. If you don't keep it stirred up, you end up with a lot of scum on the top!--Edward Abbey

thanks, but is there a easy way to get the oversized grommet in the hole something water soluble that won't ruin the rubber? _________________ Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation eff' leans on the doorbell!

Brake fluid, is a good lubricant on brake parts.
I have never really had any problems putting them in. _________________ Society is like stew. If you don't keep it stirred up, you end up with a lot of scum on the top!--Edward Abbey
