Hi,
I just intall the rear pop out in a squareback and now the windows are more or less loose when closed. What is missing? I bought the car taken apart, so I´m not sure if there is a plastik guide in the hinge area missing or not. Any info will help.
thanks |

There is normally a plastic or rubber buffer on the hinge to stop rattling. _________________ How to Post Photos

what year car do you have, as not all the squares were set up for popouts. The later car that I tried to put them in didn't have the little tab in the holes that help hold the window tight. All the cars have the holes, but not all have the tabs... |

I have a 71 and I didn't know about the tab, or the buffer. Which is why I'm selling a set with all new rubber. _________________ "In order to create, you have to destroy." |

I use black electrical tape to simulate the,,,, whatever it is. Has worked fine for a couple of years, but then, my windows don't get open/shut often. _________________ Everything known to man has been written.

Try heat shrink tubing instead of tape. _________________ Society is like stew. If you don't keep it stirred up, you end up with a lot of scum on the top!--Edward Abbey
