I picked them up for this place http://www.ebuggies.com
They are kind of local to me so I didn't have to pay for shipping. I think it's a pretty standard buggy wheel that most places will carry. |

That bug looks like there is a .01" between the rubber and fender.
Anywho, I like showing off so:
Wagenstwest lift spindles, 1 click in the back. 6x15x0 with 215/75-15 Wrangler upfront, 8x15x0 with 31x10.5-15 General Grabber AT2 in the back.

4" widened BJ beam with 15x6 white steel rims running a 5.00x15 3 rib tire.
I dont know the width of the rear rim, but its running a 16.50x15 scat trac. Stock IRS arms boxed.
Opinion time. I want to get some street tires for this pig. I was thinking about running a Mickey Thompson or BFG Radial TA 295/50r15 on the rear. Anyone have any pics of street tires on a Baja? _________________ Come to terms with your ass, for it bears you -J. Muir |

I'm looking for info on mounting rear coilover shocks on my 64 manx. Running 3x3 arms, 930cvs, going with king 2.0 14" coilovers. I've seen pictures of really nice mounts but having trouble finding step by step process and measurement and angles. Any and all info is much appreciated. |

We just installed PRT ARCO 7 wheels at all four corners with BFG 33x10.50R15 AT's. We Had 15x8" in the rear and 15x5" in the front. The front tires were wearing the center out (even @ 15psi) and do to the rears being wide we couldn't rotate them. The new wheels are 15x6.5 which flattens out the profile and allows us to rotate the tires and carry 1 spare that fits front or rear. Win Win!

Heres my current set up, the rear torsion bars are reindexed, stock trailing arms with different shock tabs, long travel shock mounts inside the car to a mini-roll bar. The spring plates an rear limiters are unchanged. Rancho rs9000s are adjustable and are working quite well, tires are maxxis bravo radials 27x8.5R14. The front has the long travel shock tower kit and limit straps, cut and turned torsion bars. Front shocks are skyjacker 7000s, and I wouldn't recommend them, too stiff of valving and upside down was the only way they didnt hit the arms near the bottom of travel. Cooper weathermaster snow tires that i pulled the studs out of, P205/70 R15. Im really fond of running snow tires on my car the stock transaxle really struggles to pull anything past 27's in my opinion, 30x9.5s wore out my last transaxle. Has a nissan A-series engine

30x7x15 baja pros on front and 31x15.5x15 rear tractors works great for woods, mud, and some rock.

hey quick question, whats the go with coilovers?
it would be stupid to run them with torsion bars as the coilovers will have much the same effect.
So do people take there torsion bars out? if so how does everythig stay together?
im taking about rear irs and balljoint front btw. in the rear could you do away with the springplate and torsion bars all together? and just run good trailing arms and coilovers to hold the weight, with limiting straps and bumpstops?
sorry if this has already been covered.. |
bump...i am wondering the same thing for my sand rail. in the future, id like to do a custom coilover install in the rear. |

31x10.5x15 rear, 7.00x15 front. Stock suspension. Was worried about font tire clearance but is just fine. Will be trimming front fenders and putting on lift spindles anyway

So ive got stock swing axle rear and link pin front. im lifted all around i just picked up some 31/10.50 for the rear and i have the option of 235/75 or 215/75 for the front. im thinking the 235 because its taller. Are those tires gonna kill my ability to turn?
What should i run as a spare? i have 3 235s and 2 215s along with the 31s for the rear.
SO what would you run |

Wow those spring plates are notched! I've clearance mine some, but that looks pretty extreme. Without a radius in the notch, I've got a feeling that'll tear at the corner after some flogging of the car. _________________ 4 seater Appletree buggy, road legal with 002 IRS, 3x3 Appletree kit, 6" over Dan's beam with 10" towers and Fox 2.0 shocks, '00 Subaru EJ25 with KEP stage 3 clutch and KEP adapter plate.
