Just posted this in the Hazet Tools thread... but thought the pics would fit in the Assistent thread as well.
I just recently picked up a couple Fostoria lamps... to make one base adapter for when I get to fiddling around with my Assistent. Then the original lamp (1615) popped up in the classifieds & so I was lucky enough to be first on the horn. Don't have it yet... but here she is....
I had purchased from Lighting Specialties the 66-VCX-701B
Here's the Fostoria lamp adapter sketch previously provided by member Anchovy.

Found the Japanese-made "Caddy" on Craigslist 40$ just this weekend.
There is no date stamped on that plate. So does anyone have any idea on a possible year? Would it coincide with Hazets of the same vintage?

Hi
I want to share my Hazet popular little collection with a matching color lamp:
Assi popular
Popular toolbox with not original tools ( a complete one is waiting for my next family trip to Germany)
Popular lug wrench found in a 181 Kübel
December 1969 Frankenkübel in background with front engine Laughing
Enjoy

After a number of hours of serious cleaning and some paint, here my 166TS that I bought the past summer. It has now entered service
I like these Hazet carts a lot, don't know why really... But they certainly are cool!
Next I plan to paint the logo on the side. Also, to improve the look of the wheels.
I include a pic of how it looked when i aquired it

Hi,
is there a source for early carts? I'm looking for a blue one.
Thanks

I finally found myself an Assistent last year. This one's in really great condition and I'm guseeing it dates from the 1980s or 1990s. It has some interesting accessories that I don't see on any of the other Assistents in this thread.
So far, the only reference to accessories in this thread is to the lamps and other attachments that plug in to the top of the upright bars.
My new Assistent:
At work in my workshop:
It has a ghost of a company logo on the lower box. Krones makes bottling equipment. I assume it originally belonged to a Krones technician.
This little magnet is for holding small fasteners or parts:
And this little rack is on the lower shelf. I assume it's for holding wrenches or???

I'm surprised there's been no comment on the accessories on my Assistent. I haven't seen these on any others in this thread. Does anyone have any idea what accessories were offered for these? Were accessories listed in the Hazet catalogues?

These items have most probably been added by the owner for his personal use. This is nothing Hazet would have offered. And Krones is one of the largest manufacturers of bottling equipment in Germany. _________________ T5 Shuttle 2.0 TDI, T6 Multivan LWB 2.0 TFSI |

Thanks for that. So I removed the little rack. It's made of plastic and was mounted with double sided tape. There are no markings on it. I'll keep the magnet because it's useful. _________________ fig

If it says Made in West Germany on the bottom it is pre 1990 and if it's Made in Germany it is 1990 or younger. See here as an example: http://www.ebay.de/itm/Hazet-166N-Assistent-OLD-US...AMESE%3AIT _________________ T5 Shuttle 2.0 TDI, T6 Multivan LWB 2.0 TFSI |

The little "a" would indicate it's pre-65 (or '66?). That's as much as I know.
You might be able to tell some details by looking at front wheels, etc.
You can find old Hazet catalogs to look through here.

Yes, I have a similar one. New, never used. 450 Euro is cheap. _________________ T5 Shuttle 2.0 TDI, T6 Multivan LWB 2.0 TFSI |
