PLEASE HELP!!!!! so far this must be rarest wheel ever..... I have a 14'' x 7" 5x205, 3-4 neg offset steel wheel appears to be late 50s early 60s, no clips or removed rivets for hubcaps, smoothie. I have been a fabricator for 40 years and this is not some funky thing someone made .I found it on abandoned property with other VW parts, and it has a steel valve stem,[not that that really matters]. I am building a Baja and now i am obsessed with finding another one and maybe even a pair of 4 or 5'' for the front. what really gets me is the OE style with no hubcap mounts, Thanks and good luck to me PLEASE HELP!!!!! |

those look extremely sketchy. looking at the size of the center cap they must of been on a late bay or vanagon. _________________ Ruby red 1967 beetle sedan with a 2021cc

yes, thats what they came off of. and yes, extremely sketchy. there's actually one valve stem for each tire one sticks off the back inside the dish for one tire and the other sticks off the front.... |

Your post to an active eBay ad (that is ALSO for your own listing) and your business are against forum rules. _________________ Formerly known in the forums as "OVALTEEN"

It took me over a year of looking but I managed to ID there wheels! They are Gaucha wheels from Brasil made after 69.
They are 13 by 5.5 but they clear the brakes. I just need to figure out how to mount them to the car. They are flat seat lugs so I might mill in some conical seat inserts. I'd like to polish the lips and paint to faces but one of the POs sandblasted them with some overly coarse media... _________________ Yes, it rides like crap...

Buy something like these for the conversion, there are various types.

Hi, does anybody knowe THESE ones? I am highly involved in Veedub stuff here in Germany since 1989 - but I never saw them before. They seem to be rare, at least on this side of the pond. I had to buy them when I got the chance. They are really bad manufactured, very heavy... but so damn cool. Aluminum center, bolted to chromed steel rim. Someone grinded out the flanges to make them fit on a 356 brake drum... which makes it impossible for me to identify them. Any info very much appreciated. Thanks guys!
Regards from Germany,
holg

definitely not Kelsey hayes wheels. Those take a cap these pictured do not. If you look at the lug hole area it is very different from sears raders and Kelsey hayes wheels. I'm stumped but they are cool. I've been trying to figure it out unless someone took some sears wheels and changed the lug profile on them. _________________ ** HELL YEAH I'LL SELL IT TO YOU**
