Picked this up with a bunch of parts and just wondering if it is from a specific year/vehicle or a dealer option?
(shown next to normal size mirror) Thank You!

Looks like a 66-67 passenger side view mirror.

West coast Metric makes those. Try using a short armed side view mirror and you can't see anything. I have a mirror identical to that long armed one on my '66.

Markm is right. The short arm mirror is useless. I bought the long arm from CIP under item C16-151-514-R for my '66.

Any idea what it might be worth - if anything?

Your pictures are gone for some reason, and I have the same question.
My mirror is a tinted 101 from a type 1, but the arm is strange. The PO got it in a box of goodies from Colorodo.

sorry I deleted the pic from Photobucket.
But no it did not look like that one.
It is just like a stock 67 except much longer.

This is the original owner of my (new) beetle.

The mirror on the beetle now is not this mirror in this photo.

I'd like to put a mirror the same as in this photo back on my beetle. Does anyone recognize the mirror in this photo?

Regards

Ken
