I just purchased a set of Albert Swan Neck mirrors from Air Cooled Accessories.

They look great and feel solid.

I know you basically trim the trim and install the one screw and nut in the first trim hole. My only concern is...from the vibration and bumps won't the mirror move or pivot? Should i glue the other side to make sure it does not move?

Any experience or tips are greatly apprecicated.

Thank you.

I have swan neck mirrors on my car. The one bolt holds them just fine. Even if that bolt came loose it can only pivot a little bit before the base of the mirror hits your fender beading. My only issue is they are a little harder to see out of than the factory mirrors.

Thank you for your reply.

So, is it more form, than function?

Did you have to make an extra hole or did you use the first trim hole as your mounting hole?

For me personally it seems more form than function. I mean I can see out of them, but not enough where I feel comfortable changing lanes without looking over my shoulder.

As far as mounting, they were on the car when I bought it. Honestly I haven't looked close enough to see if they use an existing mounting hole or if they drilled a new one.

I got a set for Christmas last year, you do cut the trim a little and they go into the last hole where the trim was. They hold pretty solid for just one nut holding them, mine do not move when driving fast. However, sorta pointless to use as mirrors since EVERYONE bumps them even myself when I walk past the car. With that said they look awesome on our cars I think.
