|
|
I've searched and found but need verification. I currently have Empi wide five rims with the 12mm screw in studs and nuts on my 62. I just purchased a set of BRM's and was wondering if I could continue to use the studs and just buy 60 degree tapered lug nuts. From what I've read, I think I can without any issues. If using the acorn lugs is a better and safer alternative, then I will go that route instead. Thanks in advance for any and all input! |

Yup, I rolled American Eagle 5 spokes with 12mm studs/lugnuts before I switched to BRMs.
The BRM's use 60 degree x 12x.5mm lugnuts. So you will have to get a set of those... Then youre good to go!

Doug,
Thanks for the reply. I'll head to the local parts store and look for those lugnuts. Nice touch on the lug nuts and nice ride!!! |

So I got a set of 12x1.5mm lugs from O'Reilly Auto. The center cap wouldn't fit because of the speedometer cable. I ground it down just enough to clear the cap. All fits well now and no need for a taller cap.
